New Delhi, 3 November, 2022: The Delhi police have recently caught two people who attempted to smuggle over 2,000 bottles of alcohol into Bihar by concealing them within wooden doors.

The police claim that the two smugglers were transporting the bottles quickly from Delhi to Bihar by piling them inside wooden doors. Near Rohini, a police unit stopped the car, took the bottles, and detained the suspect.

The accused, Roshan Rai and Sarvjit Singh, had 2,112 bottles, six wooden doors, and a tempo seized by the Outer North District police.

The bottles were organised into hollow doors in a nice stack. To get them out, the police had to use chisels and hammers. A police official added, “The bottles were so well-hidden, a normal person would never believe that something criminal was going on.”

During the investigation, the two suspects admitted to transporting illegal alcohol into Bihar for a considerable amount of time to the police. The police claimed that more investigations are being conducted.
