Delhi records 15K fresh COVID cases, positivity rate jumps to whooping 15%

New Delhi, January 6: Delhi on Thursday reported 15,097 new cases & 6 deaths in last 24 Hours.

According to Delhi State Health Bulletin, positivity rate has reached to 15.34% Moreover, within the same duration, 6900 Covid patients have recovered.

The city had recorded 10,665 new cases on Wednesday whereas today it recorded 15,097, which is a whopping jump of 41.5 per cent in a day.

98,434 tests were conducted in the City in the last 24 hours.

Moreover, as per the state health bulletin, the cumulative caseload has gone up to 14,89,463 while the death toll rose to 25,127. The number of active cases in the capital now stands at 31,498.

Furthermore, cases of Omicron varient of COVID 19 has reached to 465.
