Delhi streets waterlogged as heavy rainfalls hits the National Capital

New Delhi: On Tuesday morning, when Delhiites were gearing up for their day, heavy rainfalls hits the National Capital in the early morning today.

However, a day earlier Weather department has already notified about today’s weather conditions that the capital will be covered by rains.



Following the heavy showers, various streets in the national Capital are waterlogged, while in Chattarpur area streets can be seen occupied by rainwater.

On the other hand, rains in the National Capital caused traffic congestion in various busy routes including IP state and ITO.

The unusual weather conditions also blamed the schedule of 15 trains, which are running late to Delhi.

While in Delhi’s adjoining city Meerut, a one-day holiday has been declared till class 8th in all government and private schools in view of cold weather condition.
