Demand for separate Gorkhaland State hits streets of New Delhi

To deliver a hard message to Union government for creating a separate state of Gorkhaland, thousands of activists of Gorkhaland Sayunkta Sangharsha Samiti(GSSS) in New Delhi on Sunday staged a demonstration against West Bengal government over adopting callous attitude towards Gorkhas and also demanded for separate state.

Protesters claimed that, recently one person was killed in police firing in West Bengal, however the police denied both the firing incident. We are fighting since last 110 years for the demand

We don’t want any more discussion on the issue, we only want Gorkhaland, and government should ensure the peace in the Darjeeling and near by areas, protesters told media.
