Digital skilling has great potential in India: Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister

Talking about the Digital India mission, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister for Electronics and Information Technology said digital skilling has great potential in India. Industry & Govt, both will work together for that.

We need to encourage start ups more in healthcare,education & agriculture.We will develop an ecosystem for it, he added.

He was speaking in New Delhi on Friday during the Industry Constulation on Developing the Roadmap for 1 Trillion Dollar Digital Economy.

According to the Google study Indian digital payments economy alone will touch $500 billion by 2020.

He also greeted the Electronics companies who have brought India at forefront of electronics manufacturing in world.
