Diwali gift for Noida: 24-hour power supply
There will be no power cut in the city on Diwali. According to officials, the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited’s (UPPCL) move to buy 2,200MW in an energy exchange arrangement will ensure 24-hour supply in Noida, besides 10-hour supply to rural areas across UP ahead of Diwali.
