During PM Modi’s US visit, meeting with Musk on cards with prospects of bringing Tesla to India

New Delhi, 20th June 2023: During his trip to the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of Tesla and Twitter. The meeting takes place as rumours of a new Tesla factory in India are spreading.
PM Narendra Modi would meet with about 24 persons during his three-day visit, according to an ANI report. The meeting’s agenda hasn’t yet been made public.
Tesla will reveal the location of their upcoming facility by the end of this year, Elon Musk has stated. During a conversation with WSJ, he announced the news and said “absolutely” in response to a question about if he is interested in India.
On June 21, PM Modi will arrive in New York and attend a state banquet with US President Joe Biden.
Nobel laureates, economists, artists, scientists, intellectuals, entrepreneurs, academicians, specialists in the health sector, and more will be among the people that are slated to meet PM Modi during his visit.
Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, Grammy-winning Indian-American musician Falu (Falguni Shah), Paul Romer, Nicholas Nassim Taleb, Ray Dalio, Jeff Smith, and Michael Froman are among those on the list.
Daniel Russell, Elbridge Colby, Drs. Stephen Klasko and Peter Agre, as well as Chandrika Tandon will also meet the Indian PM.
