DWPS Greater Noida Organises Investiture Ceremony

Greater Noida, May 15, 2026: Delhi World Public School Greater Noida organised its prestigious Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm and dignity, celebrating the spirit of leadership, responsibility, and discipline among students.

The ceremony marked the formal appointment of the newly elected Student Council members, including the Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Vice Captains, and other student leaders. The event was held in the school auditorium in the presence of school management, faculty members, parents, and students.

During the ceremony, the young leaders were honoured with badges and sashes, symbolising their commitment towards carrying out their duties with sincerity and dedication. The school leadership encouraged students to lead by example and uphold the values of integrity, teamwork, and excellence.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Heema Sharma congratulated the newly appointed council members and motivated them to become responsible leaders who inspire others through action and character. Cultural performances and motivational speeches added vibrance to the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Kanchan Kumari thanked parents for actively participating in the ceremony and supporting their children throughout their educational journey.

She said, “Today is not just an activity or a celebration — it is a responsibility. The badges and positions received by students symbolise leadership, discipline, dedication, and commitment. Students must carry this responsibility with sincerity, confidence, and pride.”

Highlighting the importance of parent-school collaboration, she further said that understanding children, their emotions, challenges, and relationships is extremely important in today’s time.

“Sometimes children hesitate to share their feelings, and sometimes parents may not fully understand what the child is going through. That is why mutual trust and support are essential. When parents actively participate in school activities and stand beside their children, it gives students confidence, motivation, and emotional strength,” she added.

She also described children as the most precious treasure for every family and society, emphasizing that guidance, encouragement, and positive attention help students become more confident, focused, and successful in life.

The Investiture Ceremony reflected the school’s commitment towards nurturing leadership qualities, confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility among students.
