Dy CM Dr Nirmal Singh visits residence of Martyred DySP Mohammed Ayub Pandit at Nohatta, Downtown

Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh on Saturday visited the residence of Martyred DySP Mohammed Ayub Pandit at Nohatta in downtown area of Srinagar and offered his personal condolences to the bereaved family.

Dr Nirmal Singh expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family and met with the children of deceased police officer. Dr. Singh said that the nation will always remain indebted to Mohammed Ayub Pandit for the sacrifice and devotion to duty. He further said that it is unfortunate that the brave officer who was there at Jamia Masjid to protect the people visiting the Masjid from any threat was lynched to death by a mob of miscreants.
This is a cold blooded murder and Government has started the crackdown on the perpetrators of this henious crime and will face the strong action for this cowardice act.

Dr Singh also assured the breaved family of full support of the State Government and the Police Department.
