Festivities and Joy all around : Eid Namaj takes place at historical Jama Masjid

Eid is being celebrated all over India today. Delhi’s Jama Masjid was overflowing with people as thousands thronged it’s campus to offer the much-awaited Eid ki Namaj inside its historical perimeters.

Eid marks the ending of 30 days fasting period of Ramjan and is often referred to as Allah’s blessing in gift for making sacrifice during the holy month.

Kids and adults dressed in their best made for a beautiful sight and Jama-Masjid. As soon as Namaj ended the joyful the gathered masses hugged each-other to wish Eid Mubarak.

Before this Shahi Imam had led the Eid prayers at Jama Masjid.
