Electric Buses for Rohtang Pass

Government has approved in principle for funding 75% of the cost of 25 electric buses subject to maximum of Rs.37.50 Crore to the State Government of Himachal Pradesh and the Hon’ble NGT has also been informed. Fund will be release as and when the state government of Himachal Pradesh request for it, after issuance of supply order.

This information was given by Minister of State in the Ministry Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Shri G.M. Siddeshwara in a written reply in Lok Sabha today.
