ITS Engineering College – Teacher’s Day Program and Star faculty Award.

I.T.S. Engineering College, one of the Premier Institutions in the field of Engineering and Management Education organized TEACHER’S DAY followed by STAR FACULTY Award 2014 for the faculty.

I.T.S. Engineering College, in a short span of time has grown from strength to strength and is counted among the best engineering colleges in Northern India. It is engaged in bold and forward-thinking innovations to renew, re-imagine and re-invent contexts for teaching and learning to develop a new education paradigm.

I.T.S ENGINNERING COLLEGE. Greater Noida celebrated Teacher’s Day as a mark of appreciation for the prestigious contribution made by the faculty towards education and society. 5^th September is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, and was well-known Diplomat, Scholar, President of India and above all a teacher.

To celebrate this day, ITS ENGINEERING COLLEGE, one of the premier institutions in the field of Engineering and management organized a prize distribution for star faculties. The chief guest of the program was Prof.D.S Yadav, Pro-vice chancellor U.P.T.U Lucknow who was welcomed by the director Dr.Vineet Kansal, followed by lamp lighting and pious Saraswati Vandana.

It is very prestigious for ITS Engineering College faculty participants to have such Dignified and very Humble , Unassuming Knowledgeable people and to grasp their views and visions.

The Director Dr. Vineet Kansal extended his gratitude and invited Prof D.S.Yadav,Pro- Vice Chancellor Uttar Pradesh Technical University , Chairman Dr. R.P. Chaddha and Secretary, ITS Education Group Mr. B.K. Arora to felicitate the faculties doing commendable contribution to engineering and management education in ITS Engg. College.

Dr. Vineet Kansal emphasized that I.T.S ENGINEERING COLLEGE has always made endeavors to inculcate the new modern techniques of imparting education through new paradigms and stated that no student is ever successful in his life without the support of hi/her GURU. It is vey prestigious for I.T.S ENGINEERING COLLGE faculty participants to have such dignified and very humble, unassuming knowledgeable people and to grasp their views and visions.

A very motivational speech was delivered by the chief guest wherein he asked the faculty to keep up their great work going.

A subjective presentation was given by Dean student welfare,I.T.S Engineering college Mr.Sanjay Yadav on research paper presented internationally and nationally and enhancement of faculty trends and knowledge. The presentation gave a new horizon to all the Star faculties to ponder their thoughts upon.

A cultural program especially prepared for the teachers was held. In this program, skits, dances, mimicry and parodies were presented by students. The following:- Arunesh Kr. Yadav, Dr. Lokesh Bansal, Dr. Anjali Gupta, Ms. Rakhi Sharma,Dr. P.K Shukla, Mr. Vijay Shukla, Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Mr. Amit Saxena, Ms. Monika Bhatnagar, Mr. Ashish Gupta, Mr. Noorul Islam, Mr. Kamal Asif, Mr. Arvind Tiwari, Dr. Sanjay Mishra, (Air Commander) L K Verma.

star faculty members were selected for special performance recognition awards, who have demonstrated sustained excellence in all phases of faculty performance related to teaching, research, and service.Documented evidence, including student and peer evaluations, of outstanding classroom teaching performance, have been the basis of selection. There was a marked improvement in results of 2013-14.

Dr. R.P. Chaddha asserted that ITS Engineering College have always strived to have a good relationship between faculty and students to work together to make the course worthwhile and realize the importance of healthy relationship , or else the learning is diminished. He also emphasized that students could resolve their study matters through their faculty support.

Then teachers were given beautiful bouquets and gifts, which usually create laughter without malice.

Lastly a Token of Appreciation was presented to hon’ble guests by chairman R.P Chadda and Vote of Thanks by Registrar Mr.Gagandeep Arora.

Last of all, the teachers were invited to a light refreshment program and all students got blessings from them which they gave liberally in tune with their general nature of love and generosity.
