EPCH marks its presence at Southeast Asia Fashion Week (SEAFW) 2026, Malaysia

New Delhi – 08th July’2026 – The Southeast Asia Fashion Week got underway from 07–08 July 2026 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The EPCH India Pavilion got inaugurated by Hitesh J. Rajpal, Deputy High Commissioner and Chargé d’Affaires, High Commission of India in Malaysia along with participating exhibitors, industry representatives and other dignitaries were present informed Rajesh Rawat, Executive Director – EPCH.

Southeast Asia Fashion Week 2026 features more than 100 fashion brands and designers representing Southeast Asia, Europe, China, India, South Korea, the Middle East, the United States and Latin America. The exhibition presents a broad spectrum of product categories, including women’s and men’s apparel, footwear, handbags, fashion accessories and luxury fashion collections.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman, EPCH, said, “Southeast Asia is an important and rapidly evolving market for fashion, lifestyle and design-led products. EPCH’s participation in South East Asia Fashion Week provides our member exporters with a valuable platform to present India’s strength in handcrafted fashion accessories and contemporary design before international buyers and industry professionals.”

Dr Khanna further said, “Indian handicrafts combine traditional skills with modern design sensibilities. Through participation in exhibitions such as Southeast Asia Fashion Week, we aim to position Indian products not only as culturally distinctive but also as contemporary, globally relevant and suitable for modern retail and fashion markets.”

Rajesh Rawat, Executive Director, EPCH, said, “Participation in Southeast Asia Fashion Week 2026 in Malaysia is part of EPCH’s continued strategy to diversify markets and provide member exporters with direct access to emerging commercial opportunities. The presence of buyers, distributors, retailers and fashion professionals from multiple international markets makes this exhibition a useful platform for developing new business contacts and understanding evolving consumer and design trends.”

In this edition, 10 member exporters of EPCH are participating under EPCH India Pavilion displaying Women Wear, Fashion Textiles, Fashion Jewellery & Accessories, Apparels etc. During the exhibition, EPCH is also undertaking extensive buyer outreach and promotional activities for upcoming edition of the IHGF Delhi Fair–Autumn 2026. International buyers, retailers, distributors, designers and sourcing professionals are being invited to visit India and explore its wide-ranging capabilities in handicrafts, home, lifestyle, fashion accessories, furniture and related product segments.” Rawat added further
