EPCH marks Strong Presence in USA’s Leading Trade Show – “NY NOW 2026”
Delhi/NCR – 02nd February’2026 – “NY NOW 2026” got underway at New York, USA and will conclude on 3rd February 2026. The EPCH India Pavilion was inaugurated by Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, Consul General of India, New York, USA in the presence of Ms. Rajlakshmi Kadam, Consul (Trade) – CGI New York, Member CoA, EPCH: Raj Kumar Malhotra, K. N. Tulasi Rao; eminent member exporters, master craftpersons and trade visitors at Javits Convention Centre, New York, USA.
Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, Consul General of India, New York, USA along with the other officials visited EPCH India pavilion, interacted with participants and were delighted with the large variety of Indian handcrafted display in the show. He showed keen interest in the business model of EPCH & Expo Bazaar promoting ease of sourcing for American buyers.
Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman-EPCH said that “NY NOW is an important marketplace for Indian handicrafts in the USA, bringing together serious wholesale buyers across the gift, home and lifestyle spectrum. EPCH’s participation in the show has strengthened India’s engagement with the US market, which reflects our continued commitment to expand market access for ‘India Handmade’ by enabling direct buyer connects, showcasing design-led collections and highlighting the depth of craftsmanship behind every product. We are confident that the strong interest at NY NOW 2026 will translate into sustained enquiries and long-term partnerships for our exporters.”

Tulasi Rao, Member CoA, EPCH shared “India’s participation in NY NOW will add to the fair’s vibrancy and diversity, as well as familiarise global manufacturers, retailers, and brands with the robust entrepreneurship in the Indian textiles, home furnishing and consumer products industries, opening up opportunities for sourcing from India.”
Raj Kumar Malhotra, Member CoA, EPCH shared that “the show provided valuable insights into emerging trends in colours, materials and consumer preferences in the US and North American markets. These insights will help EPCH members align their product development and collections to global demand, thereby enhancing India’s competitiveness and strengthening the country’s image as a preferred sourcing.”
Rajesh Rawat, Executive Director–EPCH informed in this edition, 3 member exporters of EPCH are participating under EPCH India Pavilion displaying Home Décor, Home Furnishings, Fashion Jewellery etc. To promote Indian Handicrafts, EPCH has setup Thematic Display with live demonstration of Indian Traditional Crafts by Master Craftspersons / Artisans. The office of Development Commissioner [Handicrafts] has deputed 3 Master Crafts person of Applique from Gujarat, Ajrakh Hand block Print Gujarat and Hand Block from Gujarat.
