EPCH showcases India’s handcrafted fashion & lifestyle strength at sourcing at MAGIC 2026, Las Vegas

Delhi/NCR – 11th August’2026 – “Sourcing at Magic”, 2026 got underway at Las Vegas, USA and will conclude on 12th August’ 2025. The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), with the support of the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is showcasing India’s diverse range of handcrafted fashion, lifestyle and accessories at Sourcing at Magic 2026.

The India Pavilion got inaugurated by Kulwant Singh, Consul – HoC & Community Affairs, Consulate General of India, Los Angeles, USA in the presence of Dr. A. Shakthivel, Chairman-AEPC; Sanjeev Kr. Sharma, Executive Director, ISEPC; officials of Informa; participating member exhibitors and trade visitors at Las Vegas Convention Centre, Las Vegas, USA.

Kulwant Singh, Consul – HoC & Community Affairs, Consulate General of India, Los Angeles along with the other officials visited EPCH India pavilion and interacted with participating exporters and Master Craftspersons. He appreciated the range of Indian products on display as well as the live demonstrations showcasing India’s rich craft traditions and skills.

Dr. Neeraj Khanna, Chairman, EPCH , said, “The United States continues to be one of the most important markets for Indian handicrafts, lifestyle and fashion accessories. Our participation at Sourcing at Magic provides Indian exporters and artisans with a strong international platform to showcase the diversity, craftsmanship, sustainability and design capabilities of India before global buyers, retailers and sourcing professionals.”

Dr. Khanna further said, “The global fashion and lifestyle industry is increasingly looking for products that combine contemporary design with authenticity, craftsmanship, responsible production, distinctive product stories and India has a natural advantage in this space. Through platforms such as Sourcing at Magic, our endeavour is to strengthen India’s positioning as a reliable sourcing destination and create sustained business opportunities for exporters, MSMEs and
artisans across the country’s craft clusters.”

Rajesh Rawat, Executive Director, EPCH , said, “Sourcing at Magic brings together buyers, sourcing professionals, brands and retailers from the United States and several other international markets. EPCH’s participation is focused on converting this global exposure into meaningful business linkages for our member exporters while simultaneously presenting the skill and craftsmanship of Indian artisans to an international audience.”

Rawat further said, “in this edition, 6 member exporters are participating and showcasing handmade attires, leather bags and accessories, leather belts, wallets, leather garments and jackets, recycled garments and other fashion and lifestyle products. To promote Indian Handicrafts, EPCH has setup Thematic Display with live demonstration of Indian Traditional Crafts by Master Craftspersons / Artisans. The office of Development Commissioner [Handicrafts], Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India has deputed Master Craftspersons/ Artisans of Ajrakh Hand Block Printing from Kutch, Gujarat; Miniature Painting from Jaipur, Rajasthan; and Phulkari from Punjab.
