EPSI to Host Round Table Discussion on Private Sector’s Role in Transforming Higher Education

New Delhi (14 December 2024): The Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI) is set to organize a pivotal event addressing the “Role of the Private Sector in Transforming Higher Education in India.” Scheduled for Monday, December 16, 2024, this program will also honor Members of Parliament (MPs) and Legislative Assemblies (MLAs) who have contributed to the education sector as entrepreneurs.
Distinguished dignitaries will grace the event, with Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of the National Board of Accreditation, as the Guest of Honour. The gathering will also recognize eminent personalities from both the education and legislative fields, including S. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chancellor of Chandigarh University, Shri Ashok Mittal, Chancellor of Lovely Professional University, and several other visionary leaders contributing to the education landscape.
This unique initiative aims to foster a dialogue around the contributions of the private sector to higher education. It also seeks to spotlight innovative practices and entrepreneurial efforts spearheaded by legislators with a strong commitment to educational development.
