Ghaziabad: A 35-year-old executive of a finance company was allegedly drugged by unidentified assailants and robbed of his car and other belongings in Ghaziabad on Monday. The victim, Narayan Kumar, found himself on a vacant plot in Raj Nagar when he regained consciousness around 6am on Tuesday.

Narayan, who works with a Delhi-based finance company, left his home in Sector 5 of Vasundhara around noon on Monday in his Hyundai Eon car. He then drove to a bank in Vaishali for some work.
Pramod, the victim’s brother-in-law, told TOI that Narayan had parked his car in front of the bank to attend an urgent phone call. “Suddenly, he began feeling dizzy and is unable to remember anything more,” Pramod said. When he partially regained consciousness on Tuesday morning, he was lying on a vacant plot with just his clothes on.
“His car, wallet and other valuables were missing. He managed to reach home by hitchhiking on two autorickshaws,” Pramod said.
