Exponential increase in tourism says Dr.Mahesh Sharma on 3 years of Modi Government
On third anniversary of Modi government Dr. Mahesh Sharma was live on all India radio to brief about achievements of his ministry.
He said, “In
terms of tourism India is consintently increasing its growth and contribution. We have fared very well in International tourism ranking. Apart from world wonder Taj Mahal that we always had and multiple seasons that we enjoyed India has now discovered a new domain of medical tourism. We are doing well in it and we will continue to get more and more stakeholders here for that purpose”.
India is soon going to be hub of medical tourism. Indian government is working on a portal that will enlist all the rates and facilities so that no one feels indebted or overcharged.
In terms of World tourism index we have increased our raking by 25 positions and it can be considered a great achievement nonetheless.
