Minor girl raped by neighbour in #Faridabad

A 4-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour, police said today.

According to a complaint filed by the victim’s mother, her husband had been admitted to the hospital on Monday where she stayed with him all night, SHO Inspector Rajinder Singh said.

When she returned home yesterday morning, she was informed by her landlord that her neighbor Vishwajeet (23) had taken her daughter to his room and raped her, the SHO said.

The accused Vishwajeet was arrested yesterday, he added.

A case was registered yesterday with Saran police station under IPC section 376 (rape) and section 4 of POCSO, the SHO said.
