Farmers celebrate at Ghazipur border with “Kisan Zindabad” slogans following PM Narendra Modi’s announcement to repeal all three farm laws.

Meanwhile, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait has said that the agitation will not be taken back until government talks on other relevant issues.

“The agitation will not be taken back. We will wait for the day when the farm laws will be scrapped in the Parliament. Government should talk on other issues of farmers too, besides MSP,” he tweeted.

Congress leader Mallikargun Kharge called it victory of farmers.

It’s farmers’ victory, who have been protesting against farm laws for so many days; over 700 died. Seems like Centre is guilty… But who’ll take responsiblity for the hardships that farmers had to go through? We will raise these issues in Parliament,” said Kharge.
