FASHION JEWELLERY & ACCESSORIES TO BEGIN FROM 10TH JULY TO  12 JULY, 2015 EPCH  Greater Noida –

The main objective of IFJAS is to invite foreign buyers to source new and innovative fashion jewellery & accessories from India said Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Executive Director – EPCH. The Indian fashion has been known for its high value jewellery which is typical of Indian heritage, ethnicity yet modern for its connectivity.  However, India was not known in the field of fashion.  In the past decade, India has developed its expertise in fashion jewellery and fashion jewellery from India has now emerged to play role of accessories alongwith dress in accordance with the fashion.  Therefore, it is now amous as Indian fashion jewellery and accessories in the world market.The IFJAS will mainly focus on fashion products like semi precious jewellery, imitation jewellery, fashion accessories and head to toe adornments.  IFJAS 2015  will  also showcase the widest range of raw material and products and designs in five categories comprising of fashion jewellery, semi precious jewellery, fashion accessories, hand bags, fancy and embroidered fashion shoes.IFJAS 2015 will have 350 exhibitors drawn from various parts of India including permanent marts of connected fashion jewellery & accessories products.   Over 400 product specific buyers of fashion jewellery & accessories from USDA, Europe particularly from France, UK, Italy, Spain and Germany are expected to source their requirement at this show. Beside USA and European Union, buyers from Austria,Singapore, middle East, Africa, LAC will also visiting 8th IFJAS 2015 elaborated Shri Kumar.
Describing fashion jewellery & accessories as one of the important constituents of the handicrafts exports, Shri Dinesh Kumar, Chairman- EPCH stated that IFJAS forms a part of EPCH strategy for promoting exports through specialized shows.  Exports of fashion and accessories have shown 26.47% growth over the past year.  The exports of fashion jewellery and accessories has touched Rs. 3840.60 crore in the year 2014-15 against Rs. 3036.68 crore in the year 2013-14.   The main markets for fashion jewellery and accessories are USA, Germany, UK, France, Japan, Switzerland, Netherlands, Canada, Belgium, Hong Kong, stralia, Italy and Latin American countries.Describing the importance of the IFJAS Shri Rakesh Kumar, Executive Director – EPCH stated that IFJAS provides an important window to the foreign buyers to source their requirement at one place and one time and establish long term mutual business relationship with the Indian exporters.Upcoming show will provide a unique platform to those specializing in wide range of fashion products.While addressing the press and media, Shri Kumar said a special pavilion will be set up at this show of products from each of six regions of India viz. North East, Eastern, Western, Central, Northern and Southern where primary producers from these regions will display their handcrafted products.  An exclusive arrangement will be made for interaction between exporters and these primary producers for exploring possibilities of mutual business.A theme pavilion of Bareilly, Lucknow, Bhuj & J&K which have been declared as Mega cluster by Govt. of India, will be set up.  Entrepreneurs, producers and exporters
originating from these clusters are being provided opportunity to exhibit their products at this fashion jewellery & accessories show.  An exclusive Buyer-Seller-Meet of primary producers with buying agents and exporters will be held on 11th and 12th July2015.  Secretary Textiles Shri S.K. Panda has kindly consented to address the participants of BSM Fashion shows will be an additional attraction and to be held on each day of the fair so that visiting buyers can see the strength of Indian fashion jewellery & cessories and models will be displaying different categories of fashion products during these shows.A Seminar on latest trends & forecast of 2017 will also be held on 12th July, 2015 in Board Room, CFB Area, India Expo Centre during the show to update the exhibitors
about trends and forecast in fashion jewellery & accessories which will be in demand in the world markets in the year 2017.
Ajay Shankar Memorial awards for best designed stands in the category of fashion jewellery & accessories will also be distributed during IFJAS 2015 further elaborated Shri Kumar, ED – EPCH. The organizers of the show is Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts which also organize Indian Handicrafts & Gifts Fair twice a year.
