Father killed, son injured in road accident

Jaipur, Oct 4 (PTI) A 48-year-old man was crushed to death and his son injured seriously when a van hit the bike they were traveling by at Baees Godown, a congested lane area here, the police said.

The deceased was identified as Bhagchand Kumawat, they said.

Kumawat’s son Lucky (18), was rushed to SMS hospital in critical state, they said.

The Wagoner driver fled the scene leaving bike riders on the street, the police said.

The onlookers also tried to stop and chase the Wagoner but driver ran away, though the vehicle’s number was noticed by a passerby, they said.

The body was sent for postmortem, they said.
