Finance Minister #ArunJaitley to launch updated tax website

The Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will Monday launch an updated and more colourful version of the existing income tax website, making it more user-friendly for taxpayers. There will be enhanced features in the current website – www.incometaxindia.gov.in and render it as a “single window” for all the services provided by the Income-Tax Department. Taxpayers will not only be able to file their income tax returns online through this website, but also apply for a permanent account number from this same portal, official sources said.
