Fire at Metro station causes chaos

A fire broke out in an eatery inside the Kashmere Gate Metro station on Friday.

The fire, which was reported around 1.30pm from the basement, caused a chaos because of which many trains were made to skip the station. No casualties were reported.

Two workers at the eatery, Kaptan Singh and Anuj Bhardwaj, suffered 5% burns. Police officials said that at prima facie short circuit is being seen as the reason for the blaze.
