Fire breaks out at a 4-storey residential building in west Delhi, 22 rescued

New Delhi, January 19: A fire broke out at a Four-storey residential building in the Hari Nagar area of west Delhi on Wednesday following which 22 individuals were safely rescued, said the Delhi fire department official.

According to Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fire Service, “seven electrical boards triggered the fire & smoke spread in all the floors, fortunately no injuries have been reported in the fire.”

”The call about the fire was received at 3 am after which two fire tenders were rushed to the spot & 22 people were rescued; dousing the fire on time,” fire officials said.

Furthermore, Garg added, “Our personnel safely rescued 22 people who are residents of the four-storey building. The fire was small, but as the smoke spread to all the floors, all people were evacuated.”
