New Delhi, 30 May 2022: A fire broke out in a parking space in Dwarka, injuring five people on Monday, according to officials.
The Delhi fire department were informed of the fire at 1:30 am and four fire trucks were deployed to the site.
Around 52 residents were evacuated from the building consisting of 24 women and 4 children. The injured were taken to the Safdarjung Hospital. Ten automobiles including two-wheelers also caught fire.
According to officials, the fire had started due to a short circuit at the electric meter boards.
