Former Congress leader Barkha Shukla Singh joins BJP

The former Delhi Commission for Women chief, Barkha Shukla Singh, on Thursday joined BJP today in New Delhi. She was expelled from Congress on Friday for six years, after making allegations on Rahul Gandhi and Ajay Maken.
Barkha Shukla Singh was welcomed in the party by BJP’s national Vice President Shyam Jaju and Union Minister Vijay Goel in presence of media.

Barkha Shukla Singh, said that, she joined party due to the vision of Prime Minister Modi for development of nation in a positive method. He is serving for the nation, in a correct manner.
She further said that, I was upset with the working of Congress and feeling disappointed for working them. I am deeply upset and disappointed that I was a member of that party.
