Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee diagnosed with urinary tract infection, Admitted at AIIMS

New Delhi: Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was admitted on Monday at AIIMS, New Delhi for investigation & evaluation. He has been diagnosed with a
urinary tract infection for which appropriate treatment has been closely
monitored and treated by a team of doctor, Stated by AIIMS Delhi.

PM Narendra Modi and Congress President Rahul Gandhi visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to meet former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was admitted there for a routine-check-up.

The Prime Minister interacted with family members of Vajpayee. He also spoke to doctors and enquired about the health of Vajpayee.He was at AIIMS for about 50 minutes.

On the other hand, All India Mahila Congress tweeted expressing concerns on Former PM Atal Bihari Health.

"Mahila Congress prays for speedy recovery of Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji," Tweeted Mahila Congress Twitter handle.

Rebel BJP leaders Shatrughan Sinha
too wished Former PM a speedy recovery.

"The whole country’s prayers are with the true hero of independent India, our very beloved ex-PM, Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji..," Tweeted Sinha.

An AIIMS press release stated that Vajpayee was admitted for investigation and evaluation. He has been diagnosed with a urinary tract infection for which he is being treated and closely monitored.
