Greater Noida, Dec 11: — Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024, a premier construction trade fair, on Wednesday at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. The four-day event is set to host over 1,000 brands from nearly 100 countries and is expected to draw around 75,000 visitors.
The 2024 edition promises to be more dynamic, featuring the debut of Demtech India 2024, a collocated show dedicated to demolition technology. This addition aims to provide specialised insights and opportunities for professionals in the sector, the organisers stated.
Highlighting state-of-the-art innovations in the construction and mining industries, the trade fair will also showcase advancements in construction technology and digital transformation through the NASSCOM Pavilion. A dedicated Finance Zone will enable networking opportunities with leading financial institutions and investors.
International pavilions from countries like Germany, Italy, and South Korea will present cutting-edge technologies, further cementing bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024 as a hub for global collaboration in the construction sector.
Bhupinder Singh, CEO of Messe Muenchen India, the organiser of the event, said, “Our aim is to provide a platform that bridges global innovation with India’s unique strengths, fostering collaboration and growth.”
Chairman of bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024 and Managing Director of Volvo Construction Equipment, Dimitrov Krishnan, stressed the importance of technology and skill development in shaping India’s future. “The road to Viksit Bharat lies in adopting cutting-edge technologies, investing in skill development, and fostering collaboration,” he noted.
Echoing this vision, V Vivekanand, President of ICEMA and Managing Director of Caterpillar India Pvt Ltd, said, “Trade fairs like bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2024 play a pivotal role in uniting global expertise with local innovation, driving progress, and aligning with India’s infrastructure aspirations.”
