Gajraj Rao celebrates five years of directing ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2’ TVC featuring Disha Parmar, Nakuul Mehta

Mumbai, August 6 (IANS) Actor Gajraj Rao took a trip down memory lane as he celebrated five years of directing the promotional TVC for the show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, featuring Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar.

Taking to his social media account, Gajraj shared behind-the-scenes pictures and a still with the lead actors from the promotional shoot.

Along with the pictures, he wrote, “Five years since directing this TVC for Sony’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. It was a pleasure working with the show’s incredibly talented lead cast. Time flies, but the memories of creating it remain just as special.”

Reacting to the post, Disha Parmar reshared the story on her social media account and expressed her gratitude to the veteran actor-filmmaker. She wrote, “What a pleasure to have worked with you Sir! @gajrajrao.”

The promotional campaign, directed by Gajraj Rao, was launched ahead of the premiere of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 in 2021 and featured lead actors Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar.

The show was produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms and premiered on Sony Entertainment Television on August 30, 2021. The series starred Nakuul Mehta, Disha Parmar, Shubhaavi Choksey, Sneha Namanandi, Alefia Kapadia, Ajay Nagrath, Aarohi M Kumawat, Abhinav Kapoor and others across its run.

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 served as a successor to the immensely popular Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, which aired in 2011.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms, the original series starred Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar as Ram and Priya, went on to become one of Indian television’s most loved romantic dramas.

Talking about Gajraj Rao, he has been a part of hit movies such as Badhaai Ho, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Maidaan and Lootcase.

He has also been associated with the advertising world, having assisted filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar on many commercials.
