Galgotias University hosts 53rd Foundation day of Indian Society for Training & Development

Galgotias University, Greater Noida hosted the celebration of 53rd Foundation Day of the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD) under the theme Talent Shortage – Challenges and Way forward. Thought Leaders from academic and corporate world expressed their views on key issues such as the Great Resignation, Quiet Quitting, and Loud Layoffs during the panel discussion. Prof. (Dr.) Renu Luthra, advisor to the Chancellor, Galgotias University delivered the welcome address and shared how the challenges pertaining to talent shortage have exacerbated post the COVID-19 Pandemic and shared strategies to overcome them.

Prof. (Dr.) Avadhesh Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Galgotias University, delivered the Vote of Thanks and along with Prof. (Dr.) Anamika Pandey, Associate Dean of the School of Business presented the mementos and felicitated all the speakers. Mr. Susanta Bose, Dr. Snigdha Dash and Ms. Pratibha Pandey coordinated the event.
