Galgotias University Launches ‘Startup Community’ to Ignite Student Entrepreneurship
Galgotias University has taken a major step in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship with the launch of its ‘Startup Community.’ Organized collaboratively by the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) and Galgotias Incubation Center (GIC RISE), this initiative aims to provide students with a platform to transform their innovative ideas into impactful ventures, offering mentorship, resources, and networking opportunities.
The event featured inspiring sessions by notable entrepreneurs. Mr. Himanshu Adlakha, Founder of Winston, shared invaluable insights into building a startup and overcoming the challenges of sustaining innovation. Mr. Debojit Sen, Founder of CrackED and a TEDx speaker, emphasized the importance of entrepreneurial skills and mentorship in achieving success. These sessions provided students with practical guidance and the motivation to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions.
During the event, the E-Cell Core Team presented the objectives and structure of the Startup Community, highlighting the immense potential benefits for students. The launch was further marked by the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with key industry stakeholders to foster collaborations and bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demands.
