Galgotias University organises FDP on AI and ML

Galgotias University successfully inaugurated a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in collaboration with the E&ICT Academy, IIT Guwahati. The event saw enthusiastic participation from esteemed faculty members, industry experts, and scholars.

In his welcome address, Mohit Gaharwar, Principal of University Polytechnic, emphasized the importance of AI and ML and explained how faculty training can help bridge the gap between education and industry, ensuring that teachers remain at the forefront of technological advancements.

Sunil Galgotia, Chancellor of Galgotias University, shared his thoughts on this initiative, stating, “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are revolutionizing industries worldwide. It is essential for our faculty to continuously enhance their skills. This FDP aligns with our university’s vision of academic excellence and industry readiness, enabling our faculty members to prepare the next generation of AI and ML professionals.”
