Galgotias University’s NCC Cadet to represent India in “International Youth Exchange Programme” in Nepal

NCC cadet Nishant Kumar of Galgotias University will represent India in “International Youth Exchange Programme” in “Nepal”.

Senior Under Officer, Nishant Kumar from 40th UP Corps NCC Battalion Secunderabad (Uttar Pradesh), studying at Galgotias University has been selected to represent India as Cadet Youth Ambassador in “Nepal” in the “International Youth Exchange Programme”. The exchange program is scheduled to be held in Nepal between March 5 to March 15, 2024. He is the only cadet selected from the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Nishant Kumar belongs to a humble background and his parents are extremely happy as Nishant takes his first step towards his dream of joining the army and NCC has provided him a medium to fulfil his dream.

NCC officer Dushyant Rana is proud of his cadet and congratulates him at is achievement. He highlights that the selection for the Youth Exchange Programme is done during the Republic Day Camp after which an All-India Merit list is prepared and the cadets are assigned to proceed on the respective YEP (Youth Exchange Programme) based on their merit.

The Indian NCC has vibrant military-based and cultural exchanges with 11 countries. Cadets get to learn by attending this program. Alongside meeting cadets from other countries of the world, they also get an opportunity to know the different cultures that they come from. Living in that environment creates a strong determination and a wonderful self-confidence to realize your dreams in life.
