Gangster Sanjeev Jeeva Shot Outside Lucknow Court, Attacker Dressed as Lawyer

Lucknow (07/06/2023): On Wednesday, gangster Sanjeev Jeeva was shot outside the Lucknow Civil Court. According to reports, the assailant who shot at Sanjeev Jeeva was dressed as a lawyer.

According to authorities, the assailant arrived at the court disguised as a lawyer.

The gangster was brought to court for a hearing after being charged with the murder of BJP leader Brahm Dutt Dwivedi.

Jeeva was arrested in 2006 in connection with the deaths of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai and former UP minister Brahmadutt Dwivedi in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

Jeeva and former Samajwadi Party MLA Vijay Singh were sentenced to life in prison for Dwivedi’s murder. Jeeva was also linked to four additional homicides.

Jeeva fainted on the spot after being shot, along with him a police officer was also injured in the entire debacle.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Sunil Kumar Mishra, DCP West and DCP Central immediately arrived at the court premises after hearing about the event.
