Ghaziabad: Cycle-track faces green hurdle

: In a major jolt to the Samajwadi government of Uttar Pradesh, its ambitious multi-crore cycle project has hit a hurdle with the National Green Tribunal on Friday restraining it from carrying on any concretisation work or felling of trees for the project, which is coming up on a vast stretch of green belt. That is not all, the NGT has also stayed for the time being work on the construction of a footpath on the stretch.
