#US students meet cops on Op Smile

GHAZIABAD: A delegation of students from an American university, interacted with Ghaziabad Police on Wednesday over the Operation Smile programme to rescue missing children. The delegation of 10 students is in India on an exchange programme.

Senior Ghaziabad district officials, including SSP Dharmendra Singh, GDA vice-chairman Santosh Yadav and DSP Ranvijay Singh, held the interaction programme in a city hotel. Ghaziabad Police said the students’ delegation had heard of their programme from Delhi-based human rights NGO Shakti Vahini.
