#Delhi: Man sets estranged wife ablaze on road in full public view

A 25-year-old woman and mother of two was battling for life after being set on fire allegedly by her estranged husband in full public view in northeast Delhi’s Jyoti Nagar on Thursday evening. A manhut has been launched to nab the accused who fled the crowded roundabout on the Delhi-Ghaziabad border immediately after the incident.

According to the police, Mohammad Raees, a native of Indrapuri near Loni in Ghaziabad, and Rubina had been married for six years but were separated for the last few months. On Thursday, Raees reportedly called Rubina several times at her mother’s home and asked her to return. She initially refused but relented later.
