Since Oman & Dubai prices are not available due to holiday in Singapore on 09th Aug, 2016, the price of Indian Basket Oil in dollar terms cannot be derived. Therefore, price of Indian Basket as of 08th Aug, 2016 has been considered, which was US $ 42.46 per bbl.
In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket increased to Rs. 2843.13 per bbl on 09.08.2016 as compared to Rs. 2833.68 per bbl on 08.08.2016. Rupee closed weaker at Rs. 66.96 per US$ on 09.08.2016 as against Rs. 66.74 per US$ on 08.08.2016.
