#Gold bars seized from passengers from Bangkok

Kolkata, Dec 20 (PTI) Two gold bars weighing 1.36 kg were recovered from two passengers coming from Bangkok at the NSC Bose international airport here today.

The gold bars, valued at Rs 34.6 lakh, were concealed in the jackets worn by the passengers, customs officials said.

The two passengers – Lovepreet Singh of Hoshiarpur and Dharmpal Singh of Patiala — were detained and interrogation was on, they said.
