Government of India issues advisory on false / fake news, misinformation on coronavirus
Government of India has issued an advisory to all the social media platforms directing them to curb the false / fake news, misinformation that is being spread on their respective platforms regarding coronavirus.
The advisory urges the the social media platforms to take immediate action to disable / remove such content and promote dissemination of authentic information related to coronavirus.
