“Govt has to take CAA/NRC back” : Left leader Amarjeet Kaur

New Delhi (30/12/2019): Ten News interacted with Left leader Amarjeet Kaur today and had discussion related to the ongoing crisis in the nation regarding the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act).

Ten News: Does the government look like in favour of taking the act back?

AK: “The government has to take it back. There’s no other option for them. It is not at all possible in the nation like India that the ruling is trying to do. The people who are trying to rule in the name of Hinduism should know that Hindu is a diversified religion but they dividing and ruling the nation and are not even intrested in knowing that the Hindu can be a Tamil, Hindu can be a Bengali, and Hindu is everyone who are living in different parts of this country”, said Kaur.

Ten News: What do you think about the detention center? Do you believe the government is speaking truth that there are no detention centers?

AK: “I have visited many nations and I have seen the museums of these detention centres in Europe that were built under the rule of Hitler. Thousands of people there were killed in gas chambers using poisonous gases. I believe that the Modi government is just trying to repeat what Hitler did, in India. The people of India couldn’t recognise this government initially but now they are getting to know its reality. I salute the students who were then against this government and are still outraging to get this government vanished from the Centre”, said Kaur
