Grameen Sneh Foundation and CNMS Deliberate on the Role of Women in Empowering Societies and Spread Cancer Awareness

New Delhi, 19 September 2022: The Grameen Sneh Foundation and Centre for Narendra Modi Studies (CNMS) had organized Felicitation Ceremony, Conference on the Role of Women in Empowering Societies and Hausla Fashion Show by Cancer Survivors on the Occasion of the 72nd Birthday of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi at India International Centre, New Delhi.

The event entailed the felicitation ceremony, conference on the Role of Women in Empowering Societies, followed by Hausla Fashion Show by Cancer Survivors and their Facilitation, Solo Dance by Cancer Survivors and etc.

While Sneha Routray, President of Grameen Sneh Foundation, in her welcome cum inaugural address addressed that women are already empowered nowadays but need to push up and support from every corner and every person in society. She also told the role of women in empowering societies in terms of social, emotional and financial aspects. She also thanked every person who invested their time, energy, money and efforts in materializing this programme.

In this event, more than 300 persons including Cancer Survivors graced this event, including Prof Jasim Mohammad, Chairman, Centre for Narendra Modi Studies, Dr. Meenu Walia, Sr. Director & HOD, Medical Oncology, Max Hospital cum Patron Grameen Sneh Foundation, Dr Alka Aggarwal, Founder President, Arihant Charitable Educational Trust, Dr. Nowhera Shaik, National President, All India Mahila Empowerment Party (AIMEP), Tripti Shinghal Somani, Founder, Womennovator, Dr. Anita Khokhar, Director Professor, Dept. of Community Medicine (Ministry of Health & FW, Govt of India) and Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi, Dr Lata Ji, Independent Director, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Govt of India among others.
