Greater Valley School, Greater Noida today observed a 2 minute silence to pay their homage to Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam

LOKESH GOSWAMI  11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. Mr. Kalam was a man young at heart and always on a mission. He was fondly known as the ‘Missile Man’ and People’s President. He had a way with the students and always managed to motivate and ignite their craving for success.
Speaking to the students Principal Ms. Poonam Chaubey read a few passages from Mr. Kalam’s books. She spoke of how magnificent a man he was and how he rose to great success despite his humble background. She quoted a poem he wrote for his mother, which ends stating, “We will meet again on the great judgment day. My Mother!”
She addressed the teachers and reinstated that faith Mr Kalam had in the profession of teachers. Ms. Chaubey quoted Mr. Klam, “The teacher has to fill his or her mind with great thoughts and spread the nobility in thinking and action.”
