Green brigade irked, but realtors laud tourism plan

The NCR Planning Board’s approval on January 20 of provisions permitting tourism in natural conservation zones (NCZs) appears to have spurred Noida and Greater Noida authorities to expedite development of a green corridor in the twin cities. A dearth of places to spend time at beyond malls and the Sector 18 market has been mooted as the basis for the project. While realtors are hailing the project, environmental activists call it a man-made disaster.
