Hospital pulled up for refusing rape survivor

GURGAON: The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has demanded a report from Civil Hospital for not admitting a 5-year-old rape survivor on March 29. The commission sought reasons for not treating the child in the hospital and referring her to Delhi-based Safdarjung Hospital. Hundreds of villagers from Chakkarpur protested on April 2 in the city demanding the suspension of the city`s chief medical officer (CMO).
