#MarutiSuzuki Surges 3% on Strong April Sales

Maruti Suzuki shares jumped 3 per cent on Monday tracking robust April sales. India’s biggest carmaker had posted a 30 per cent growth in car sales during April on Friday. Maruti sold 1,11,748 units in April against 86,196 units in the corresponding period last year. Analysts expected the Gurgaon-based automaker to post sales of 1,02,500 units during April.
