Haryana, Sept 13th, 2022: Leela Hotel in Haryana’s Gurgaon city saw complete evacuation and tight security procedures on Tuesday after a bomb threat call was received.
The call was received at the Leela Hotel in the Ambiance Mall complex around 11:35 am.
The police were immediately informed following which bomb disposal and dog squads reached the hotel and evacuated the area.
“The number from which the threat call was made is found to be switched off now”, said a senior police officer.
He further said that a probe is ongoing to locate the caller.
“The hotel received a threat call today morning which was escalated to the local authorities. Investigating authorities followed protocols and sanitized the hotel. We are providing full support to the investigating agencies and after a thorough check, the hotel has been cleared by authorities to resume normal operations,” a hotel spokesperson.
