He said that Delhi Congress Control Room has formed separate teams to give training to BLAs, and the process will be completed in all the Assembly segments in the next 5 days, so that Congress booth managers will be fully equipped to meet all the possible situations before, during and after the Lok Sabha polling. He said that Congress workers have been identified, shortlisted and screened before giving them training in booth management. He said that the DPCC Control Room has formed a team of  15 volunteers each in all the three Lok Sabha constituencies to identify and scrutinize BLAs for booth management training, and oversee their activities in publicising Congress’ 5 Nyay and 25 guarantees among the people, and distribute the Guarantee Cards door-to-door. Shri Devender Yadav said that narrative building for every election was an important process, but PM Modi and the BJP have taken it to an extreme level by attacking particular groups and communities with invectives instead of talking about the struggles of people on account of  price rise, unemployment, atrocities on women, plight of the poor, etc, to cover up the Modi Government’s failures in the past 10 years. He said that the Congress manifesto specifically deals with the problems being faced by youth, women, farmers, labour, middle class and the poor and the underprivileged to create a positive narrative, and Congress workers will popularize the 5 Nyay and 25 Guarantees in the Congress manifesto door-to-door, and this exercise has gained great momentum after the Lok Sabha election campaign bugle was sounded by Congress president Shri Mallikarjun Kharge at a huge public meeting at Ghonda, in the North East Delhi Parliamentary constituency. He said that the Congress workers have been visiting door-to-door to distribute the Congress guarantee cards.

Shri Devender Yadav said that Delhi Congress will organize “Town Hall” in the coming days to discuss the issues facing the people threadbare like price rise, unemployment, GST, rehri-patri vendors, pollution, women’s safety and security, law and order, JJ clusters, resettlement and unauthorized colonies, ownership rights to the poor in every Lok Sabha constituency and to find solutions. He said that Shri Rahul Gandhi has agreed to address one of the Town Hall meetings. He said that the social media will adopt novel publicity methods to take the messages of Congress and India Alliance to people across the Capital. He said that Congress will also organize road shows, corner meetings and public meetings for the Lok Sabha elections to create great momentum in the election campaigns.

Shri Devender Yadav said that India was a young country with youth power, but due to the destructive policies of the BJP, the youth of the country have been rendered jobless, forcing them to lead an aimless life, but the Congress has made schemes to ensure a bright future for the youth.  He said that Congress workers have been particularly targeting first time voters who have crossed 18 years of age, and looking askance at their uncertain future due to the wrong policies of the BJP. He said that the Congress promises in the manifesto will give them sure assurance of a bright future if they vote for Congress and India Alliance candidates, with the campaign of “first vote of first-time voters to the  Congress”, to divert them from the politics of hatred of the BJP.

Shri Devender Yadav said that media was the Fourth Pillar of Democracy, which plays a vital role to protect democracy, but PM Modi did not appoint a single press conference in the past 10 years to take the questions from the media, but the top  Congress leaders have been regularly interacting with the people to keep the democratic traditional alive, and take the party’s messages, programmes and policies to the public without any ambiguity, on every issue affecting the people, but Modiji has been keeping a stony silence on the issues affecting the people like price rise, unemployment, women’s safety and security etc.
