New Delhi, Nov 10, 2022: On Thursday, the Bharatiya Janata Party released the names of its candidates for 160 out of the 182 assembly seats in the state.
The list of candidates was finalised in a high-level meeting chaired by BJP President JP Nadda. Several prominent leaders including former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, former Deputy CM Nitin Patel, and senior members like Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and Pradipsinh Jadeja have not been fielded by the party.
The list of candidates was announced by Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav. Here’s a list of top candidates that will be fielded by BJP in the upcoming elections:
Viramgam Constituency – Hardik Patel
Jamnagar Uttam Constituency – Rivaba Jadeja
Gandhidham – Maltiben Maheshwari
Morbi – Kantilal Amrutiya
Avrasa – Pradyuman Jadeja
Voting for the Gujarat assembly elections will take place on December 1 and December 5 with the results being announced on December 8.
